What is your lead time?

Our lead time is usually 3-4 weeks [6 weeks for FD120 firerated doorsets] from receipt of full and final details. We do, however, try to keep a gap in our production schedule so that we can "push through" very urgent deliveries for regular clients and will be happy to discuss this with you should you require. We stock most of the components for popular types of doors and can turn around small orders in as little as 24hrs.

How the doorsets are delivered?

Doors are individually boxed for transportation - boxes can be taped on to doors once hung for site protection. We deliver the frames separately, all machined for hinges on our CNC router. Stops are loosely pinned and architraves loose in lengths. We are, however, flexible, should you have different requirements. Do you supply the ironmongery with your doorsets?

We usually supply the doorsets with hinges (not fitted to avoid transportation damage). All other types of ironmongery can be supplied on special request. Lock case and slip-bolt cut-outs can be made on our CNC router to save you time on site, if you provide us with samples. We deal with, and have an excellent relationship with, most of the major ironmongery suppliers, but in particular can recommend John Monaghan Northern who provide and excellent scheduling system and great service.

Can you make recessed fire rated panelled doors, and can these match existing in a historic building?

Yes to both questions. We can manufacture recessed panelled doors up to FD60s rating within certain parameters. We are frequently asked to manufacture fire rated doors to match those in historic buildings.
